Dont get me wrong this is a book that had me hooked from the beginning.

The Fifth Season by. It contains multiple POVs several timelines and a diverse cast of characters telling a visceral tale of losing finding and forging yourself through fire. Points of view span different times and places but never become confusing.

The Fifth Season contains many elements which are brought together skilfully by Ms Jemisin. This book sat on my shelf for quite a while and I was planning on letting it sit. In the wake of Game of Thrones works labeled dark fantasy have pervaded the literary market.

I almost gave up on The Fifth. Ive been looking for a new fantasy series for a long time now but I havent come across anything recently thats caught my eye. 1 of 3 Rating.
